Mittenzwey, Louis L. Age 88, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, of Pleasant Hills .

Beloved husband of 68 years to Nellie Kathryn Mittenzwey; father of Joan (Robert) Livingston, Janice (Michael Olenchock) Hinkle and Lauri (Brian) Blevins; grandfather of Kimberly Nieves, Matthew (Stephanie) Livingston, Becky (Michael Skolmowski) Livingston, Alyssa Hinkle, Nicole (Donald) Holtz, Brianna Olenchock and Taylor Blevins; great-grandfather of eight. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to American Heart Association, 4 Gateway Center, 444 Liberty Avenue,Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

    Dear friends, I'm so sorry to hear this. He and all of you were so much a part of our family. Mr.M. will be missed by our family. I have lots of memories of him..boating, riding in the convertible on nice days, driving us to Sunday school and even more recently, the cruise in 05, visits to Farmville, and family celebrations like Julie's wedding to Keith. I wish I could come for the visitation and service but I'm in South Carolina. Hugs to you all. Sue
