Age 75, of Baldwin Boro, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary Ann (Ricciuti) Silvestre; loving brother of Leonard (the late Nannette) Silvestre, Maria Silvestre and Antoinette Silvestre; son of the late Pietro "Pete" and Gaetana Silvestre. Also survived by cousins and friends. Lou was retired from CSX Transportation after 41 years as a trackman and truck driver. He was very handy and liked doing things himself including working on cars. Lou was strong in his Catholic faith and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45.
