May 16, 1930 - March 29, 2018

Meyer, Lucille E., age 87, on Thursday, March 29, 2018 of Baldwin. Beloved wife of the late Donald H.; mother of Donald M. Meyer and Susan B. Kasyan; grandmother of Danielle J. (Carl) Meixner and Donald J. (fiancée' Emily Hilf) Kasyan; preceded in death by her parents, Conrad W. and Elizabeth Gastel and her siblings, Conrad P. Gastel, Mildred Laragen, and Wilber Gastel. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 4:30 p.m. If desired, family suggestions contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

    Meyer family, I am so sorry for your loss. My contact with Lucille was minimal but I have it on good authority that Lucille was the kindest, and most loving aunt that anyone can have. My connection in the Gastel family is that my grandfather George Gastel was a brother to Coonie. My mother was Norma Gastel.
