Obituary For Lucille M. Wallace

September 17, 1927 - November 7, 2016

Wallace, Lucille M. (Hungerman), age 89, peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2016 of Whitehall, formerly of Bloomfield. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Wallace; loving mother of Mike (Debbie), Peggy and the late Patrick (Deborah); proud grandmother of Shawna, Peter and Benjamin Wallace; sister of Marjorie Cavill and the late Bette Hungerman, Dorothy Ronayne, Martin, Robert and Charles Hungerman; sister-in-law of Noreen Henderson. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was a proud and active member of St. Gabriel Church Christian Mothers. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Gabriel Parish Share, 5200 Greenridge Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Whenever we lose a loved one in death it is too soon. We've never met , but please accept my sympathies for your loss. My own Mom died about a year ago, she was about the same age, and I think about her every day. I hope your loving memories will give you a measure of comfort as mine do for me. I also look forward the the promise found at Rev. 21:3,4. Sincerely.
