Obituary For Lynn Palmer-Retsch

November 15, 1955 - July 29, 2017

Palmer-Retsch, Lynn Age 61, on Saturday, July 29, 2017, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of the South Side.

Beloved wife of Jim Retsch; loving mother of Timothy J. Palmer, Jr., Lori Retsch and Matthew Retsch; grandmother of Kayla Retsch and Madison Lynn Miller-Retsch; daughter of the late Charles W. and Audrey (Lucas) Schnupp; sister of Charles (Cheryl) Schnupp, Jr., Mark (Patricia) Schnupp, John (Lisa) Schnupp, and the late Beverly (Sluggo) Mangan. Lynn is also survived by her many dear friends. Lynn was a retired Sergeant from the City of Pgh. Police and after retiring worked as a County Court Administrator. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am.

    Lynn was a woman I looked up to all my life. From when I was young and she did swimming competitions (and won!) to when she became a police officer for the city of Pittsburgh. She never drew attention to herself, always had a smile on her face. We will all miss your sweet face Lynnie.
