Obituary For Margaret L. Havrila

July 16, 1938 - July 28, 2017

Havrila, Margaret L. (Farrell), age 79, after a long illness, on Friday, July 28, 2017 of Baldwin-Whitehall. Loving wife of 51 years to John P. Havrila; beloved mother of Kathleen (Michael) Paul, John E. (Erin) Havrila and Kristine (the late Jeffrey) Phillips; proud grandma to Kelly, Bethany, John Glen, Julia, Sara, Katie and Emily; great-grandma to Warren; sister of Veronica Jones and the late Edward Farrell and Gayle Kiefer. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, July 31, 2017 and Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 10:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 11:30 a.m.

    My sister was my rock. I will miss her always but know she still lives in my heart. I know she is at rest with the Lord and reunited with those gone before. Love transcends death. I love you Peg.
