Margaret Rose Vereb, age 97, of Whitehall, passed away on January 16, 2026. Daughter of the late John F. and Margaret (Morvay) Vereb. Sister of Stephen R. (Sandra) Vereb, the late Regina M. (Edward) Griffin, Dorothy, Dr. Edward (Patricia) Vereb, and Loretta. Survived by Francis Griffin (Chiara), Glen Vereb (Amy), Maureen Andoga (Andrew), Gail Sinkovic (Gregory), Stephen G. Vereb, Stacey Lubar (Greg), and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227, on Sunday, January 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Prayer will be held on Monday morning at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Margaret Rose's name.
