Obituary For Margaret Schumacher

September 24, 1930 - April 1, 2018

Schumacher, Margaret Age 87, on Sunday, April 1, 2018, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved wife of the late Paul W. Schumacher, Sr.; devoted mother of Paul (Diana), David (Judi), Steven, John (Cindy), James (Janice), Margaret Lynne (Bruce) and the late Mark; cherished grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 24; daughter of the late Stanley and Margaret Ann (Miller) Peifer; sister of Mary Ann (Walt) Busch and the late Stanley (survived by Alice) and James (survived by Darlene) Peifer; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She fought against cancer with the same courage and dignity that she lived her life. She was loved by all and will be missed by everyone she touched. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, April 3, 2018, 2-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
