McBride, Marguerite (Cecil), age 99-1/2, on Saturday, October 25, 2014, of Overbrook.

Born on April 19, 1915 in Raywick, KY to Charles and Mary Jo (McCauley) Cecil. Beloved wife of 33 yrs. to the late Henry V. McBride; loving mother of Michael (Christine), Joanne (the late Vincent) Krayvo, Ruth (the late Richard) Buntin, Linda (Samuel) Perry, Rosemary (Jerry) Quiter and in infancy, the late Marguerite; cherished grandmother of Wallace, Vincent, Kendra, Kellie, Ann, William, Jennifer, Cynthia, David, Matthew, Jonathan and Brian; proud great-grandmother of 17; sister of the late Eva, Marguerite, Ruth, Marion, Chester, James, Charles, Hazel May, Joe Rob and Earl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Prior to starting her family here in Pittsburgh, Marguerite worked as a nurse in Kentucky for several years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Norbert Church at 10 am.
