We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the entire Barrett family on the loss of this remarkable woman. It is always difficult to lose a wife, mother and grandmother, but it is especially hard to accept when it is so sudden and she is so young. We hope the family can take some comfort that her suffering was not prolonged and some solace that she lives on in the memories of those whom she loved and who loved her.

We were shocked to hear of Marietta's passing. 47 years ago on New Year's Eve, Ed and I were spending it with Jack and Marietta at Jamal's restaurant and at the stroke of midnight, Ed proposed to me. Marietta, with the voice of an angel, sang at our wedding. Will never forget that important time in our lives and how we shared it with the "Barretts". God Bless her family.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. Marietta was such a lovely person and a great teacher. We have known her since my daughter was in 7th grade at St. E. We have attended many Cookies for Chris events and she was always a gracious lady. She will be missed by many people. She touched all of our hearts.
