Marilyn was one of the sweetest women that I've ever met, there are no words that I can say that will ease your pain. Her dedication to her husband David was immeasurable, never complaining and always had a smile on her face, that lit up a room. May choirs of Angels accompany Marilyn to her rest. Judy Kocinski

My sincere condolences to all of Marilyn's family. I remember her as a classmate at St Basil High with her energy and can-do attitude. Was pleasantly surprised to come across her at a local bookstore in Whitehall many years ago. We caught up a bit but meeting old friends is never long enough time. Again, my sympathy for your loss. I always looked forward to Wednesday, when Marilyn and I delivered meals to lovely, needy people on route 2 for Brentwood Meals on Wheels. Marilyn and I would talk the whole time about our families and what was happening in our lives. I will miss her. Lois

Marilyn was the strongest, most dedicated, and caring woman I've had the pleasure to meet and I am proud to say she is my mother-in-law. She cared for her husband David for so many years and always put everyone else before herself. She loved her family so much and was so proud of her kids and grandkids. She always made sure Annika and Alex had a special birthday cake made when we celebrated their birthdays at her house and was always up for some Snapchat fun with Annika. She was the best Christmas decorator and her Christmas trees were truly remarkable. She loved the Christmas season and was always excited to decorate each year. We are sad that she is gone sooner than we expected (we had no idea what 2024 had in store for us), but we are relieved that she is finally at peace and is no longer in pain. Thank you to all who have kept her and our family in your prayers and please continue to do so. Kristen Detwiler

The memory I will always cherish is that Marilyn & myself have been great friends for 50 years. I will always remember the great lunches that Marilyn made for me & It gave us a chance to talk about everyday things that affected both of our lives. I will always remember the beautiful cards that Marilyn sent me sparkles & all. She always had a way to bring joy to your day. I told her that she should work for Hallmark. Thank you for your kindness & love that you always gave to me & my family. I will miss you very much.❤️ Joann Murphy & my grandkids, Karl,Mia, & Nicholas
