Obituary For Martin A. Blum

August 22, 1922 - January 2, 2015

Blum, Martin A. "Marty", age 92 years, in Campbell, Ca at home on Friday, January 2, 2015. Marty was married to his best friend the late Dolores "Sis" Blum for 49 years at the time of her death and are together again. Loving father of Martin J., Thomas (Renee), James (Nicki), Mary (Phil) McAllister, Susan Blum, and Jean Lefko; adored "Pap-Pap" of 10, Great-"Pap-Pap" of seven; dear brother of Bernice Wagenhofer, Sr. Marie Grace Blum, O.S.F., Vera Deven and the late Grace Dissen, Robert Blum and Richard Blum. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. "Well done good and faithful servant!" Matthew 25:23.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Sisters of St. Francis, 146 Hawthorne Road, Pittsburgh PA 15209.
