Obituary For Martin A. Conroy

Age 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, of Whitehall.

Loving husband of Valerie (Lewis) Conroy; beloved dad of Douglas (Sommer) Conroy, Jeffrey (Gemma) Conroy, Wesley (Grace) Conroy, Colleen (Alex) Folino; Pap Pap of Harper, Oona, Lilly, Wyatt, Violet, Cooper and Dominic; son of the late Regis and Geraldine Conroy; son-in-law of Shirley and the late William Lewis; brother of Thomas, Jack and the late Kim; brother-in-law of Dale Lewis and Pamela Ferris. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Martin was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He served his community for 37 years as a police sergeant for Baldwin Township and retired in 2016. Martin and Valerie traveled the country together and he had a love for fishing. He was an avid Steelers fan through the good years and the bad. Friends will be received at the Whitehall House adjacent to the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
