December 20, 1922 - November 10, 2014

Kukan, Mary Adele (Leszczynski) Age 91, on Monday, November 10, 2014, of Baldwin Boro.

Wife of the late Charles Joseph, Sr.; loving mother of Carolyn ((Robert) Dyer, Charles (Elizabeth) Kukan and Daniel (Denise) Kukan of Port St. Lucie, FL; beloved grandmother of Bobby (Kristen), Mike (Jennifer), Jeff (Marissa) and Joey (Tara) Dyer, Rachelle, Emily and D. J. Kukan; great Nanoo of Ashley, Lindsay, Morgan, Mikey, Calleigh, Charlie and Benny; sister of the late Gertrude Kukan, Richard and Robert Leszczynski. Mary was an avid reader, loved to crochet and make ceramic objects for her family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 2-8 p.m.. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m.

    Found memories came flooding back when I heard the news of Mary's passing. One of the sweetest ladies who touched my life. I am so glad it was Mary who watched me as a child. Had an open door for me and my siblings anytime. I remember walking with my sister to trick or treat all the way down East Willock Rd. to get to Mary's and Gert's house. She was such a loving and creative person. I can remember her crocheting for every person she knew. I am glad so many have these items to remember her by, and that she is home with so many loved ones she missed dearly.... Chuck, Louie and Gert. Rest in Peace Mary! I know the Lord Jesus has a special safe place for you in all of His splendor in eternity. I will be seeing you and celebrating eternal life with you some day. Until then I miss that you are not here on earth, but will know in my heart where you are and how much better of a place heaven is for you! My family and I send our deepest sympathy to all of your family <3
