Obituary For Mary Ann Mathews (Saglime)

August 31, 1945 - June 3, 2017

Mathews, Mary Ann (Saglime) On Saturday, June 3, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer, of Baldwin, formerly of Charleroi.

Beloved wife of 42 yrs. to Richard P. Mathews; loving mother of Lisa Rose (Josh) HousiauxSteward; daughter of the late Rose and Thomas Saglime; cherished sister of Thomas Saglime, Jr. and Josephine (Kirk) Hague. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was a generous supporter of several Catholic charities and was an animal rights advocate. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her cat, Skittles. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227 on Tuesday, June 6 from 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostle Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 am.
