Schmaeling, Mary E., age 88, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Mary was a longtime resident of Paramount Assisted Living in Baldwin, formerly of Pleasant Hills and Hazelwood. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Schmaeling; sister of the late Joseph and Paul Schmaeling; sister-in-law of Madlyn Schmaeling; aunt of Joseph P. (Alison Budd), Paul T. (Jennifer) and Jean M. (William) Valentine. Mary was a longtime employee of Westinghouse. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15.
