Obituary For Mary G. Bauer

March 16, 1943 - November 6, 2015

Bauer, Mary G. (Altman), age 72, passed peacefully comforted by her family, on Friday, November 6, 2015 of Whitehall, formerly of Carrick. Loving wife of 48 years to James E. Bauer; beloved mother of Audrey M. (Bernie) Beringer, Joseph J. (MiJa), and Tim A. (Kim) Bauer; daughter of the late George and Cecelia Altman; sister of Robert (Carol) and James (the late Betty) Altman and the late Paul, George, and John Altman. Mary was a devout Catholic and longtime faithful member of St. Wendelin Parish. She was an avid nature lover who enjoyed all animals and also gardening. She especially enjoyed her time going to Curves with her best friend Nancy Lestitian. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday from 12-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St Wendelin Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Wendelin Church, 3198 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
