Obituary For Michael F. Bondi, Sr.

Age 83, on Sunday, July 20, 2025, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Kathleen "Kathy" (Miller) Bondi; loving father of Teresa (Mark) Windstein, Michael F. (Jeanine) Bondi, Jr. and Lori (the late Jack) Windstein; devoted grandfather of John (Lauren) Windstein, Kimberly (Dustin) Harsch, Matthew (Caroline) Bondi and Mark (Stephanie) Bondi; great-grandfather of Lucas, Grace, Miles, Dylan, Lucy, Max and Hailey; brother of Tom (Agnes) Miller, John (Gloria) Bondi, Carol (Mike) Bulsak and the late Richard (Noreen) Bondi. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E. Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

    Bondi kids- I also have childhood memories of your dad (and mom). Your mom coached me the first year I played softball. I messed up a play in the outfield. Your dad came over after the game ended pand gently but firmly used it as an opportunity to coach me up! I remember this 50 years later.     To the bondi children I am sorry to here of your dads passing I have good memories of him in our little league he always had the will to win coaching you up to try and do your best he gave pep talks that Knute Rockne would have been proud of RIP Chris ireland
