Obituary For Michael W. "Mickey" Chermak

Age 83, on Monday, December 9, 2024, of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of 54 years to Joanne; father of Todd and Brian (Maureen) Chermak; proud Pap of Ryann, Brett, Nathan and Keegan; son of the late Michael and Bertha Chermak; brother of Linda Lee Chermak, James (Kathy) Chermak and the late Robert "Bo" (survived by Linda) Chermak. Also survived by nieces and nephews. After a lengthy career, Mike retired from U.S. Steel - Irvin Works. He had a passion for golf and bowling and was a member of several leagues. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 3-8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
