It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved husband and father Mile (Mišo) Djerić, age 54, from Pittsburgh, PA. Mile was born August 4, 1970 in Bihać, Yugoslavia and lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. He departed this life on February 4, 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA surrounded by his loved ones. Mile is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Jelica, daughter Jex, and sister Dragana, with their families. The viewing will be held at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. with a Pomen service at 7:00 p.m. and Friday, February 7 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 450 Maxwell Drive, Whitehall 15236. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will follow at St. Sava Cemetery in Castle Shannon. Sincerest condolences to the Djerić, Maričić, Marić, Terzić, Maleš, Zubić, Kolonja, and Matić families. Rodjen je 8 ugust 1970 u Bihać, BiH, Jugoslavija i proživeo život ispunjen ljubavlju, dobtrotom i posvećenošću poorodici i prijateljima. Premiuno je 4 Februar 2025 u Pittsburgh, PA, USA u 54oj godini života nakon borbe sa teškom i opakom bolesti, okružen rodbinom. Mile iza sebe ostavlja suprugu Jelicu, s kojom je proveo skoro 30 godina braka, kćerku Maju, i sestru Draganu sa njihovim porodicama. Opelo će se održati u Petak, 7 Februar 2025 u hramu Svete Trojice Srpske Pravoslavne Crkve u Vajthol (Whitehall), nakon čega će uslediti sahrana na groblju Svetog Save u Kasl Šenonu (Castle Shannon). Daća će biti održana nakon sahrane u hramu Svete Trojice Srpske Pravoslavne Crkve. Iskreno saučešće porodicama Ðerić, Maričić, Marić, Terzić, i Maleš, Zubić, Kolonja i Matić.
