Obituary For Nicholas P. Cenci

November 23, 1931 - June 12, 2014

Cenci, Nick P., age 82, on Thursday, June 12, 2014, of the Whitehall-Brentwood area, spent his entire life in the music entertainment business, from his days working in radio, recording and producing hits with Lou Christie and the Vogues and his time doing PR for Motown Records.

Father of Pamela, Chip, Todd and Maria (Bill) Watts; grandfather of Cassandra (Ernie) Pais and Michael; great grandfather of Nico and Luca; brother of the late Ralph (Marie) and Pat (Vinny) Cenci. Also survived by his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

As Nick would say "And with that, I lift my scotch on the rocks to you and yours until eternity. God bless"

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m.

    Pam & Todd: Cindy and I pass along our condolences. Your Dad was a character who left a foot print that cannot be replicated. I hope you throw a party to his memory where people consume adult beverages and share Nick stories that extend into the wee hours of the next day's morning.
