Obituary For Nina Pasini Deibler

Age 51, of Baldwin Boro, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

Beloved wife of Jayme Deibler; loving mother of Elise Marie and Wesley Benjamin Deibler; cherished daughter of Ralph and Dolores "Dolly" Pasini; sister of Dolly (Curt) Armstrong and Michael (Jennifer) Pasini; sister-in-law of Drew Deibler and Deanna (Richard) Etling; aunt of Mason and Camden Armstrong and Morgan and Clara Pasini and Aubree and Addison Etling. Nina was a fierce and loving protector of her children and her family. She took on every challenge in life with unmatched tenacity. She was gracious, loving, independent, vivacious and dedicated. She would be the first one to help a person in need, and the last one to leave. She accepted the challenge of being a Type 1 diabetes mom/family, and her legacy will live on in her children. Nina embraced the role of wife, mother, daughter, sister, businesswoman, scout leader, soccer coach, and ballet/dance mom. Her favorite hobby was snow skiing, and her smile would light up a room. To quote one of her favorite signs…”We do brave & strong, we sleep less & love more. We do this together & we never give up.” Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Saturday morning at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Foundation, 100 W Station Square Dr #1900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. She dreamed of a cure…

To Nina's parents, Colonel Pasini and Mrs. Pasini: I met Nina in Mililani and she has been in my heart since the moment I met her. What a wonderful job you did raising a strong, responsible, compassionate woman. I am so grateful to you both for giving Nina the foundation she brought with her from childhood to adulthood. Her tenacity, strength and the depths of her kindness were astonishing. I will miss her terribly. To Jayme: We have never met but my heart is breaking for you. I know you will feel the void of her absence deeply. Be strong for Elise and Wesley, and lean on your family and Nina's friends. We will be here for you even though we are spread far and wide. To Elise and Wesley: You will never truly understand how absolutely crazy in love she was with the both of you. She spoke of little else than how proud the two of you made her. Elise, your mom and I met when we were about your age. She was remarkable then, and even more so as an adult. May you both remember her and strive to be the kind of person she was. I pray for comfort for all of you.

Jayme, I have no words to describe my feelings after hearing this news today. Though we moved away years ago, I felt closer to Nina than my neighbors now. Full of life, passionate about her work and truly the biggest advocate for your children - I kept up with her through Facebook. You could feel the love for her family in ever single post. Always with a smile on her face, so extroverted, she made anyone feel welcome, loved and noticed. My heart aches for you and the kids. This world lost an amazing human. Please know that you are all on our minds. We will reach out in the near future. Anu and Sameer Khandhar, New Jersey

My dear sweet baby cousin. There are no words to describe these past few days. We will miss you and love you. What a legacy you have left and we will support and love them. I don't know why, but my mind keeps going back to when you and Leona locked yourselves in Grandma's bathroom and the adults had to remove the window to get the two of you out. The looks on your faces! And the fact you taught Madelyn in 10 minutes to tie her shoes, which I had failed at for over a month. Love you until we meet again. My heart is shattered for your mom and dad, Jayme, your two adorable children, Michael/Jen and "Little" Dolly /Curt. 💔💔💔💔💔

Dearest Ralph, Dolly, and family, Al and I are so very sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye to a child is not something a parent should have to endure. Our hearts, love, and sympathy are with the whole family. We know you have a great faith and pray it helps in these passing days.

My sweet friend Nina, you brought so much joy to every person who crossed your path. We met over a common bond, which brought us together as T1D moms several years ago - connecting and supporting each other. I will never forget your smile, strength, kindness, positivity and everything in between. I was blessed to know you. I promise to continue educating and advocating for a T1D, in your honor. Thank you for being my friend. Carlene ❤️
