Obituary For Noel L. Emanuel

Age 84, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of the late Felicia (Smaglo); son of the late Noel and Edna Emanuel; brother of Gareth (Cassie), Kevin (Cathy), Keith (Linda), Gawain, Gail (Alex) Portelli and the late Brice (survived by Julia). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Noel was a member of IBEW Local #5 for more than 50 years. He enjoyed many Steelers and Penguin games as a season ticket holder. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home Chapel at 12:00 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 862, Carnegie, PA 15106.

    So sorry to hear of Noel's passing. Almost 4 years for Felicia's passing. Meeting Felicia and Noel in Florida about 20 years ago was the start of enjoying our winter trips. Sitting by the pool, Going out to Breakfast or Dinner or just having an evening drink and solving all the sport problems of our favourite teams. Enjoyed many times with them both. RIP Noel Glad you both were such good friends Mary Ann and Gary Fathers. Windsor Ontario.

    To the Emanuel family, Greg and I would like to give your family our deepest condolences. We were fortunate to spent time with Noel on Christmas Eve. He really enjoyed being around all the little kids. Felicia was a good friend of ours, we always enjoyed going to dinner with the two of them. Of course Noel always ordered Shrimp! Noel is with Felicia now, watching the Penguins and Steelers together again. They both are dearly missed. May Noel Rest in Peace. I did make a contribution to the American cancer society in memory of Noel. I'm sorry that we don't have any family addresses to send that information to you.
