I went to high-school with Norma but was unable to attend any of our class reunions, picnics or lunches in order to reconnect with our classmates. However, I was impressed with Normas willingness and dedication to her classmates to organize all the events. It speaks volumes about her love for people, her determination, and her consistency in wanting everyone to feel included and important. Wish I had been able to see and visit with her. But I know one day in Heaven we all will have one great big reunion and time to catch up. Love to her family and you were blessed to be loved by her.

I added three special photos that I treasure of Norma and I. For a period of time we were taken to be sisters due to the same hair color and hairstyle (photo of just our faces). We enjoyed so many fun times together. I am happy and privileged to have had Norma in my life from our late teens to our 70's. I cannot get over her being gone. Carol Churchill, Las Vegas NV

Dear Family and Friends, my deepest sympathy to you. I was beyond shocked to read about Norma on Facebook. She and I just communicated on July 8. We have been friends since 1968 - vacationing together at the beach, going to the same business college; we shared many wildly fun times. I loved Norma's laugh; it was contagious and enjoyable. I will miss our ongoing friendship and talks. She struggled through health issues so bravely and remained upbeat and positive. What an amazing person she was. She will be missed. Carol Churchill

Rich, I am so sorry to hear this. Norma and I grew up together. I always called her my first friend. We shared birthdays one year apart. This saddens me to hear this news. RIP my dear friend. Love you..till we meet again

Norma Jean, you are a great lady and better friend. I marveled at your strength as you fought that horrible disease and you continue to inspire me as I face my own difficulties. I'm gonna miss you kid.
