Beloved husband for 57 years of Laura Schmidt; cherished father of Kelly Kichi, Norman (Heather) Schmidt, Keith (Cindy) Schmidt and Kevin (Adrienne) Schmidt; devoted Pappy of Emma Kichi, Alyssa, Samantha, Marcella, Jacob, Jared and Laila. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday at 9:45 with Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30.
