Horbiak, Olga, age 91, peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Born July 16, 1925 in Jerome, PA, the youngest of six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Katherine (Tymczak) Horbiak and her siblings: Tony and Anna, both of whom died as infants, Michael Horbiak, Mary (Theo) Collins and Stephen (Evelyn) Horbiak. Olga was raised on the South Side, graduated from South High and was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. She also resided in Carrick and Brentwood, and most recently at Sunrise of McCandless. She retired from Bell Telephone after working for over 40 years in the Accounting Department. Olga was devoted to family, assisting her mother and being a favorite Aunt to her siblings' children (and their children). She will be remembered as a gentle, kind, humble woman who was fiercely independent and loved chocolate in any form. She is survived by seven nieces and nephews, and seven great-nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly. Services for Olga will be held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the John F.
