My path crossed Patâ??s for several years as co-workers at the ACBA. Daily she would share her interesting views of politics, sports, and celebrities. She was always ready with a smile and a quiet low chuckle that made her eyes water and her shoulders shake. I loved hearing the escapades of her cats (both indoor and the feral ones her and her husband cared for on their porch). Her constant worry of their welfare and safety came from a place of genuine kindness. That same care and concern extended to all her interactions at work as well. Her devotion to her family was obvious in how highly she spoke of her husband, son, daughter, all four grandchildren and both daughter and son in-laws. She was extremely proud of each one of them for their individual talents, personalities and accomplishments. My sincere sympathies to her family which I never met and only knew of via Pat. She was definitely one-of-a kind and I am certain that she was very special to each of you and will be sadly missed by all.
