Age 33, suddenly on Monday, February 3, 2014, of Castle Shannon .

Father of Jonathan Michael and Jenna Marie Kenny; son of Jane Kenny. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Saturday from 1-5 p.m. with a Blessing Service at 3 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Pat and pats family it's Joe your old friend. I am sorry I was not informed about the service . I knew Pat since 1992 . The best of times we had . I kept all the photos of us from 92 to 2008 . I Will miss you old friend . Jon do good in school and help take care of your mother .

    To Jonathan (and parents): I am very glad we had the chance to speak on the T last Friday. I really admire your courage to speak up and say you were hurting. Some people hold these things in and that is not good. As I told you, the loss of your Dad and other life events have been extremely difficult to bear. I could tell how much you loved your Dad in just the short time we spoke. I know God will use you greatly in your life ahead. I believe you will be a wonderful witness of God's power and love because of what you have gone through. Keep going to church as you said you do and trrust in Jesus as your savior. Your Mom and step-Dad must be very proud of you. You are in my prayers.
