Obituary For Pauline Dowling

Age 94, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, of Brentwood, formerly of Brockway, PA.

Loving wife of the late Robert "Sam" Dowling; beloved mother of Bob (Maria) and Douglas (Heather) Dowling; proud grandmother of Robby Dowling; predeceased by brothers and sisters. Also survived and missed by the Lang family, Dowling in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pauline was a talented dog groomer and avid dog lover in general. She also loved to ice skate in her younger days and travel. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of her blessing service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.

    Bobby, Doug and family, I am very sorry for your loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful person and always wanted to know how everyone was doing when I ran into her. I will always remember her from our childhood and giving us drinks and looking out for us. I am sorry that I could not make it to the services and will keep your Mom and your families in my prayers.
