Schneider, Ralph E., Jr. Age 82, on Thursday, August 27, 2015 of West Elizabeth.

Beloved husband of Jacqueline; father of Theresa (Mark) Buffo, Celina Mudryk, Ralph Schneider, III, Daneen Roller, Lawrence (Melissa) McCoy, Nikki (Jeff) Gratton, Valerie Franklin, Glen (Nichole) Schneider, Tammy McCoy, Brett (Nikki) Schneider,Amy Schneider and Adrienne Schneider; grandfather of 33; great-grandfather of two; brother of Dorothy (Frank) Hood; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ralph served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 710, was a retired police officer with the City of Pittsburgh for 27 years, and a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Finleyville. His hobbies were hunting and bowling. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church of Finleyville, 3595 Washington Ave, Finleyville, PA 15332.
