Obituary For Richard Bobrzynski

May 29, 1938 - January 8, 2018

Bobrzynski, Richard, age 79, on Monday, January 8, 2018 of Baldwin, formerly of Southside. Beloved husband of 58 years to Josie (Ziemski); loving father of Brian (Dee) and Rich (Lisa); proud pap of Jacki (Jason) King, Jessie (James Capo) Bobrzynski, Zachary Bobrzynski, Amanda (Jeremy) Monteverde, Nicole (Matthew) Canofari and Kristina Bobrzynski; great-grandfather of Allen King; brother of Jerome (the late Louise) Bobrzynski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rich was retired from Matthews International after 42 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday and Thursday, January 10 & 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 11:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostle Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 12:30 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.

    I met Rich at Giant Eagle. He was part of the crew that came in for coffee in the morning. Always a nice word from him. Talked and joked around. He will surely be missed. God has gotten another special angel in heaven. Thoughts and prayers to all his family. May you find strength in knowing he is not sick and in any pain. God bless
