Obituary For Richard Charles "Rick" Innocenti

A lifelong resident of Baldwin, Rick Innocenti, age 79, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 1, 2024.

Born the son of the late Charles Emil Innocenti and the late Caroline (Latos) Innocenti. Beloved husband of Rose Marie (Koepfer) Kahl-Innocenti, together for 43 wonderful years. Loving father of John Robert (Rachael Sinopoli) Kahl of Munhall and Steven James (Melissa) Kahl of Crofton, MD. Grandfather of Natalie (Joey) Ford, Emilee (Ricky Kirchenbauer) Kahl, Brandon (Courtney) Kahl, Ryan Kahl, Kayleigh (Darek) Davis, Justine Kahl and Andrew Kahl. Great-Grandfather of Adalynn Kirchenbauer, Noah Kahl and Caden Kahl. Devoted brother of Denny (Kathy) Innocenti and brother-in-law to Louise (departed Ron) Aubele and Mary Lou (departed Robert) Kahl. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Rick was a 1962 graduate of Baldwin High School. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a Communications Technician until 1968. A career salesperson, Rick held positions selling cars, chemicals, windows, real estate, and, most recently, selling home repairs at Inks Installations. Rick's greatest passions in life were cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins, traveling to the Caribbean, hitting the slots at the casino, caring for his beloved pets, and spending time with his best friend and wife, Rose.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 3-8 p.m. at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
