Obituary For Richard Gary Hagerty

Age 72, on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, of Mt. Lebanon.

Beloved significant other of Jean Kimball; father of Laura and Devon Hagerty; son of the late Thelma Riley; brother of the late Kenneth (survived by Betty) Guerra. Also survived by his loving nephews, their families, and his beloved dog Gus. Rich worked for many years as a school psychologist for the Mt. Lebanon School District. He loved all things outdoors, especially hiking and fishing. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 3-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning in Blessed Trinity Parish, Holy Angels Church at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Western PA Conservancy, 800 Waterfront Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

    I am so sorry to learn that Rich has passed. I will always remember our days working on the second floor in the High School. Donut Fridays, fun chats during breaks and of course.... Saloon Happy Hour Friday!!! Yes, Fridays were great days!! Hugs to Rich's daughters to whom he adored and to Jean who he cherished!
