Gerhold, Richard C. Age 92, on Friday, June 26, 2015, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Baldwin Boro.

Husband of the late Mary M. (Cook) Gerhold; father of Susan (Andy) Forst of Arizona; grandfather of Anthony R. There will be no visitation. A committal service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 in South Side Cemetery Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.

    Susan, sorry for your loss. I remember you Dad from Judith Dr. Your Dad and my Dad were buddies. When I was little your Father found a little parakeet on a telephone pole, he gave to my brother and myself and we namrd him Richie. God be with you and bless you at this time. Paula McKeeton...     Susan, you have our deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. I knew him, and your mom, for many years at St. Germaine Church. I remember how often your father and I would talk while I we would be at the church festivals. I enjoyed talking about the "old time" with him as he sat on the bench with your mom.
