Obituary For Richard J. Loebig

December 23, 1927 - July 28, 2015

Loebig, Richard J. Age 87, on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, of Venice, FL, formerly of Mt. Oliver.

Beloved husband of 64 yrs. to June (Cooper) Loebig; father of Susan Terleski, Daniel N. (Christine) and the late Richard F.; grandfather of Steven Terleski, Richard (Lindsey) and Phillip Loebig; great-grandfather of Lucas and Leanna Loebig; brother of Frank (Marley) Loebig, Laurine (Regis) Schuler and the late Elsie (Jack) Craft. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to National Multiple Sclerosis Society - PA Keystone Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale St., Ste. 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.

    Our hearts are saddened by the death of Dick. I worked at Hipwell's with him, and he was a wonderful boss. Over the past 40 yrs I loved getting his Xmas cards with his little note inside. It was such a pleasure to visit with him & June about 5 yrs. ago in FL. He still had the same humor & great memory! Prayers go out to the family of such a personable man.
