January 2, 1950 - December 17, 2015

Powell, Richard Joseph Age 65, unexpectedly on Thursday, December 17, 2015, of Dormont .

Loving husband of 44 years to Deborah M. (Gloeckl); beloved dad of Richard James (Michelle McSwigan) Powell and Jennifer L. (Michael Schoedel) Powell; proud pap to Kate; son of Gladys and the late Norman J. Powell; brother of John (Dona), Bill, Debbie and Harry (Kelly) Powell; son-in-law of Edward and Ruth Gloeckl; brother-in-law of Gail Gloeckl; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius X Church in Brookline at 10:00 am.
