Beloved husband of the late Lorraine F. (Wagner); loving father of Sharon (Jack) Fontana, Richard (Robin), Christine (Robert) Anderson, Donna (Gary) Vallano and Lorrie (James) Ober; devoted grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 4; brother of Raymond, Joan, Ruth and the late Walter Jr., Henrietta, Autonat, Eleanor, Bernard and Irene. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels at 10 am.
