Loving mother of Heather (Gene) Mitchell; cherished Na-Na of Joseph, Dominick and Carlie Mitchell; daughter of the late Joseph M. and Rita (Fitzpatrick) Malloy; sister of Daniel (Maxine), Paul (Joyce), Peter (Peggy) Malloy, Joann (Randy) Menefee, Anna (Mark) Frontera and the late Joseph (Survived by Judy), Patrick (Survived by Joanne) and John Malloy. Also survived by her special cousin Richard Andracki and numerous nieces and nephews. Rita retired from the Pittsburgh Public Schools, Carrick High School after over 25 years of service. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday, December 10, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m.
