Obituary For Robert "Bob" Belich

Beloved husband of 60 years to Ann Marie (Krovocheck); father of Lisa Belich and the late Beth Ann Belich; proud Djedo of Elizabeth; brother of Diane Holomshek and the late Nick and John Belich. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Bob taught Health and Physical Education, as well coached football and wrestling in the West Mifflin School District for nearly 40 years. He was also proud to have served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, September 25, 2023, from 3:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday 10:00-11:00 AM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 in the chapel at the funeral home.

    Mr. Belich was one of the nicest men I ever knew. He was my middle school and high school gym teacher. While my peers didn't think too highly of me, Mr. BELICH always stood up for me. R.I.P. Mr. Belich.

    My prayers to Lisa and the rest of the Belich family. Mr Stagon died earlier this year. He was my 7th and 8th grade gym teacher and Mr Belich was in ninety and tenth. Heaven must need great gym teachers.
