Husband of the late Patricia Louise (McMillen); father of Vanessa (Gerard) Furey, Lee (Ralph) Engel and Beth (James) Chatham; grandfather of Meghan (Michael) French, Kathleen Furey, Michael (Marta) Vandegrift, Jennifer (Jonathan) Nanz and the late Matthew Furey; brother of Edward Monroe Vandegrift (the late Dorothy); great-grandfather of Annabelle, Tess, Helen, Colton and Wyatt; also survived by three nephews. There will be no visitation. Private interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements by the John F.
