Weinert, Robert E. Age 89, on Friday, July 11, 2014, of Whitehall

Husband of the late Gertrude Farber (Young) Weinert; brother-in-law of Beatrice Young; uncle of Nancy Wilson, Bonnie Foster, Irene Campagna, Cathy Recker and the late William Large. Bob was a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and retired from J & L Steel after 40 years as Director of Personnel Relations and Organization. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Tuesday morning from 10-11. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. John Lutheran Care Center, 500 Wittenberg Way, Mars, PA 16046.
