Obituary For Robert J. Russell

Age 87, of Baldwin, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022.

Loving husband of the late Janice A. (Parne) Russell; loving father of Vicky (Randy) Beveridge and Diane (Chris Clowes) Russell; proud Pap Pap of Ryan M. and Timothy A. (Sara) Beveridge; son of the late Lawrence J. and Rose (Gurcak) Russell; brother of Eleanor Zorn, Fr. James Russell and Mary Ann Culhane. Also survived by nieces, nephews and their families. Bob served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and retired from Superior Lithograph. He cherished his dogs Sunday, Velvet and Shadow and loved boating and docking at Dave's Marina. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
