Obituary For Robert L. Schorr

Age 89, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, of Baldwin.

Husband of the late Barbara Schorr; father of Judy Hennel and Jamie (Andy) Kapolka; brother of Eileen Tyhurst; grandfather of Kristen (Rob) Lingle, Mike (Amanda) Hennel, Stephanie (Danny) Bryant and Danielle Kapolka (David Bates); great-grandfather of Shelby Lingle, Aaron Lingle and Tristan Hennel. Bob served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was truly the most caring man to his family and friends. He will be missed by so many people. He touched so many lives and, in return, they touched his. Thank you to all his friends at McAnnulty Elementary School. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 3-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels, 3725 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227 or Three Rivers Hospice, 300 Oxford Drive, Monroeville, PA 15146.
