For Alana and Adam.....your father loved you both more than the world. How blessed you are for having the greatest father ever given. If it was not for Tuch, and the love in his heart, my Frank would not be alive. His words of wisdom and life that he lived, showed not only Frank, but every single person who was lucky enough to be graced with Bob's enormous presence, how to live. Tuch, thank you for always staying strong, wise, artistic, talented, loving, and being the greatest person we will ever know. There is nobody who will ever compare or live up to you. We love you and your family so deeply, and you left much more than an imprint on this life. We will see you again, our sweet friend and brother. Enjoy paradise with your mom, dad, brother, Dude, Angel, and all the beautiful souls in heaven that we all know are there for you welcoming you into the next life. We can't wait to see you again. We love you.....with all our hears, Frank and Laura ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

There is/was no one like Bobby. We grew up together on Girard Road and had lots of fun times. Bobby was there for our family when our parents had special needs. He could always put a smile on my face and made me feel like he was so happy to see me. He was funny, warm, clever and exciting. All rolled into one big ol hug. He will be missed. Rest In Peace my friend ! We grew up together as classmates at Highlands school and through high school. We reconnected about 15 years ago.. I will always remember how when we were kids he stood up for anyone that was being bullied or made fun of. He had a very kind, caring and giving heart. He loved Alana and Adam with every fiber of his being. I am so glad we were able to share time on this journey of life. RIP !

Bobby came to Girard Road in Whitehall long long ago- he was about 8? so it was about 1965 or so. HE NEVER LEFT. His family, including his parents and his big brother Jimmy, moved from Hazelwood (Hays) as I recall they called it. Many of the families on Girard road worked at either Westinghouse, or US Steel, or somehow for the Mines. The Martuccis were different. Dad owned a bar- the Joint (Palais' Cafe) in the Hill District. Brother Jimmy worked on the barges on the rivers during the week. On weekends, he raced cars. He would change the engines right there in their driveway. Bob was the baby of the family- and he was a chubby young kid then- giggly, and soft. Over time, he grew into a mountain-like body and personality. Slowly, like a volcano building and building, and then erupting, Bob grew bigger and stronger. Also, Bob demonstrated a gigantic imagination and personality and artistic talent. He could draw, oh man, could he draw, like M.C. Escher, or Albrecht Durer. He could paint, like Frank Frazetta, or the best comic book artists. He painted canvases. But often his canvas was a van- party vans, plumber's vans, or motor cycles, or cars- old or new. He also could weld, and cut metal, and bend it and shape it like it was plastic. Then he learned to work with stone- walls, driveways, sidewalks His walls were the envy of all who saw them. Everyone wanted one- even my mother- and Damn if Bob didn't trick/convince her into agreeing to an unusual pattern for a low small wall, about 20 feet wide- clearly viewable from the bedroom window of Bob's former wall building partner, at that time his business competitor, across the street from our and Bob's house- He worked a design in dark and light colored stones, of a hand offering a raised middle finger to his Frenemy across the street. My mother never suspected, but we all knew it. That was Bob- imaginative and Daring. Bob also was loving and caring, behind his big, often bearded loud gruff sometimes crude exterior was a generous and offering heart. He served his children Alana and Adam without fail. He delighted in sharing time with them and talking about them. He also generously aided and supported his aging neighbors, one of whom was our father, Jim Weissburg, who was not the easiest guy to get along with. He and Bob were unlikely kindred spirits in many regards- both lovers of guns, WWII aircraft, automobile design, engines, power tools, and much more. There is not enough paper in the world to hold all of what I would want to share about Bob, so, let me just close with the mention that his memory is a blessing for all who knew him. The stories of his life will be a gift that keeps on giving as long as any of us who were lucky enough to know him has an audience to hear them. May he rest in peace- or, perhaps in a more exciting mode, as he surely sometimes thought might come for him after he left our world. If anyone can get to such a place, It will be Bob.

I met Bob at children's hospital ...both his son Adam and my daughter were in the NICU...and both were diagnosed with Down Syndrome. God brought us together at that time to support one another! Lost touch over the years and recently have been in touch with Bob...trying to get Adam and my Abby together. So sad we didn't get to reconnect:(. May God speed Bob to gates of Heaven! More determined now than ever to be able to get Abby and Adam together in honor of Bobs memory!!!! Prayers for Alana and Adam and all of Bobs family and friends!
