Obituary For Robert W. Colaizzi

Age 93, of Baldwin-Whitehall, on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Beloved husband of 66 years to Geraldine Ann (Kress); loving father of David (Barb), Pam (Gary) Woodside and Chris Colaizzi; cherished grandfather of Ashleigh, Anthony, Alli, Brenna and Sara; adored great-grandfather of seven; brother of Julian (Jean) Colaizzi and the late Norman (Ruth) Colaizzi. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was an usher at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church and volunteered with St. Vincent DePaul. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation (www.parkinsons.org).
