Obituary For Robert W. Cronenweth

April 5, 1921 - December 31, 2014

Cronenweth, Robert W. On Wednesday, December 31, 2014, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of Shirley Jean (MacDonald) Cronenweth; loving father of Mark Alan (Joan Gilmore) of Cincinnati, Scott Earl of Maine, Lisa of Pittsburgh and Robert Cronenweth, Jr. of Michigan; adoring grandfather of Emma Cronenweth; also survived by his loving companion Abby. Robert had a lifelong career in the U.S. Army and retired as an administrator with the West Jefferson Hills School District. He was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday from 4-8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Animal Rescue League, Inc, 6620 Hamilton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
