Obituary For Robin R. McNally

Robin Limbruner-McNally, age 58, of Peters Township, formerly Carrick, passed away on Monday, April 7th, 2025 after a brief, unexpected illness. Robin was born in Carrick on May 2, 1966 to the late Robert and Jackie Limbruner. She lived her life filled with love and light that she shared with all around her. She was the kindest, most loving, funniest, hardworking, inspiration of a person. Her passions included any time spent with her family, especially her husband Steve and children Alex, Shaun and Anthony, making memories with her best friends, traveling the world, a good meal and glass of red wine, and a quiet morning with a book and a cup of coffee in her backyard in Florida. Her beauty outside was only eclipsed by her beauty inside, to know her was to love her and to feel completely loved by her. Not only did she pour every ounce of herself into her personal life, she created an incredibly successful career as a State Farm Agent. Starting her business in 2000, she grew her agency through hard work and genuine dedication to her customers. She made lifelong friendships with her fellow agents, and became an integral member of the Brentwood community. Robin is beloved wife of Stephen McNally; mother of Alexandra (Anthony Turkovich) McNally and Shaun McNally; sister of Robert Limbruner; daughter-in-law of Ann Louise and James McNally; sister-in-law of Marcia (Robert) DiGiorgio, Susan (Anthony) Silvagni, and Thomas (Molly) McNally. She is also survived by many loving nephews, cousins, friends, and all of those whose lives she has touched. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine Laboure Parish, St. Louise de Marillac Church at 11:00 am. One of the kindest people I have ever known. Between her father and her, she was my family's insurance agent for 50years. She was also a dear friend I will remember. My condolences to her family at this time.

Robin was, and will always be a very special light for so many... She was truly an angel here on Earth, and we all were so fortunate to have her warm light, love, friendship and positivity in our lives. Whenever I saw her and talked with her, whether it was at the insurance office with my husband Joey, at a lunch, or on the phone, I always felt her kindness, warmth, friendship and light. I, and so many others , will miss her so much, but just thinking of her with her beautiful smile should bring a smile or warm feeling as we think of how lucky we were to be part of her light and life. Thank you, Robin... xo

We've known Robin (and her family) only a few years, but, it didn't take long to realize what a kind-hearted, loving and really good woman she was. She loved her family above all else and will be greatly missed!! Love and prayers to family and friends!!

The last conversation that Robin and I had was discussing our children. She told me how in love she is with her kids and how that feeling never goes away. I am already at a loss on who to brag to when my son does the next cute thing. Thats who Robin was though; someone who loved deeply and fully and who didn't make it weird to tell her friends that she loved us too. She celebrated every win and encouraged people to live their best, happy life! She was a wife, a mom, a mentor and a friend that will be so sorely missed. My condolences go to her family, friends and all who loved her.

I'm deeply saddened that Robin has passed on to heaven so soon, Robin you are very much missed, you are always lighting up the room with your smile, always laughing and spreading joy wherever you went from Pittsburgh to Florida, those memories stretch back all the way to Carrick High School in the 80's and will forever be etched in my heart and memory! You are a one of a kind person! We will keep Steve in line for you now! haha Sending love and strength to Robin's family and friends during this difficult time. May you rest in peace and may your light continue to shine in all of us who had the blessing of knowing you. We ALL love you!

I was so saddened to hear of Robin's passing. Although we were never close, she was my sister in law's childhood and adult friend. Her family lived at the top of my street and her father was my State Farm agent until she took over the helm. She was a wonderful person and a ray of sunshine always. My heart goes out to her family.

Robin was a ray of sunshine. She was a beautiful person and loved her family. My favorite memories were being around her during Catholic school cheerleading competitions (Houlihans with the moms after!) and volleyball tournaments (Splash Lagoon!) She was a supportive mom but always went out of her way to make the other kids feel seen... even in the lunch lines. Her laugh and smile were contagious. Her spunky personality and kind heart will be missed dearly.
