Loving husband of 49 years to Joyce (Allen); devoted father of Lisa (Fred) Bardo, Lori (Daniel) Pavlik and Eugenia (Andrew) Winter; proud and loving grandfather of Ronald (Jessica), Robert, Gemma Bardo, Katharine, Anna Pavlik and Sarah and John Winter; brother of Elsie Zevola, Anthony (Adeline), Robert (Judy), Robin (Larry) Pollins, George (JoAnn) Shaner and the late Edward (Estelle) Zevola. Also survived by his beloved numerous nieces and nephews. Life member of Baldwin Fire Company, veteran of the US Army, and member of American Legion Post 935 Honor Guard. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:45.
