Obituary For Rose Mary (Johnson) Evosevic
Born and raised in South Side, Rose was a South Sider through and through. She enjoyed planning St. Casimir class reunions and getting together with fellow alumni. She was also a proud member of the Lithuanian Club. A resident of Whitehall for more than 54 years, she loved the many neighborhood friends she made over the years.
Rose instilled in her children and grandchildren a love for the arts, and enjoyed attending dance performances, Broadway shows and art museums with them over the years. She loved making dance and majorette costumes for her daughters and baskets for charity raffles. A staunch defender of the underdog, she also instilled in her children and grandchildren a strong sense of social justice and charity, supporting many causes near and dear to her heart. She loved making her house beautiful and welcoming, tending to her plants and garden, and caring for the deer visiting her backyard.
Most of all, Rose loved and adored her beloved husband Snail, her daughters and grandsons, putting them above all else. Her sharp wit, love, and generous and kind spirit will be missed.

Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral prayers on Friday morning at 9:30.
