Age 91, of Bon Air, passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by family on Saturday, January 22, 2022 Beloved wife of the late Edward M. Gloeckl; loving mother of Deborah (the late Richard) Powell and Gail (John) Gloeckl; devoted Grammy of Richard (Michelle) Powell and Jennifer (Mike) Powell; loving Great-Grammy of Kate Powell; daughter of the late Michael and Mary Busko; sister of the late Julie McMillen, Marie Oley and Stephen Busko. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth's family would like to thank Gallagher Home, Health and Hospice, as well as Dr. Rocco Adams for their unwavering and compassionate care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Basil Church at 10:30 am.
